Cause and effect is narrative throughout classic hollywood films, and V for vendetta does conform to this as he wants vengeance from the people who experimented on him. Character driven/ psychological motivation is within the film as Evie wants protection from V, and he gives her protection in a form that he makes her protect herself, he makes her stronger. V for vendetta does in a way conform to the opposition and conflict, but not entirely. Usually it is between two people and it's a big fight scene, but in this it is the symbolism of the government (parliament) being blown up. Normal hollywood films end with the bad guy being killed and theres a good outcome, whereas this ends where Evie blows up parliament.
the film is deliberately undermining the rules of society
